Heated Land is a band project founded in 2012 in Dresden around singer-songwriter Andreas Mayrock.
Inspired mainly by Americana and artists like JJ. Cale, A.A. Bondy or Big Thief, the songs of Heated Land wander through vast landscapes and tell of freedom, longing, hope and the strangeness of man with all his funny needs and plans.
The formation’s two albums to date were released in 2013 and 2019 on the Dresden-based labels K&F Records and Hometown Caravan Records.
