H1, a Berlin based live improvising artist for electronic music.
Born in Yaoundé and having spent his childhood in Kamerun, h1 has a strong connection to Africa that can be easily heard in his tribal rework of percussive polyrhythms. H1 started making music in the late 90s, recording loops from his father’s computer onto cassette tape. Nowadays he is busy noodling around with algorithmic compositions, modular synthesis and building his own gear.

Wry Eye is the ambient drone collaboration of Jan Wetzel and Michel Griese, a synth and a guitar both gently strummed to weave complex sound patterns and free improvisation into abstract arrangements.
