NICOLAS QUIRIN (Folk, Pop/FR)
Nicolas Quirin is a young singer songwriter from Metz, France. He spent the last two years on the road, in England, Germany, France or Czech Republic. All along that lonely trip, he wrote and recorded his first album « Lullabies For My Ghost ». The pieces composing his debut-LP show a surprising maturity and a huge melodic richness, lead by a crystalline guitar and a very specific falsetto voice. With Nicolas, nothing is told, everything is only suggested by the deep melancholy and palatablenostalgia that make him sound like Elliott Smith was having a late night talk with Nick Drake on a park bench.
