Golden Dark was born out of the serendipitous meeting of two musical dyslexics – David John Hull and Elo Masing – who had been feeling their way through seemingly radically different musical traditions: Melancholy irony, intensely charged eroticism and at times over-the-top theatrical cheekiness.
