With our “Special” we dive deeper. It could be a mix of longer sets by our open mic performers. A theme night. The results of a songwriting challenge.

Fred Flintstoned

The songs of Fred Flintstoned are inspired by a wide range of music, with 60’s psychedelic pop/rock and 70’s heavier rock that later evolved into genres like stoner rock as important sources.

The vocal style has been influenced by the native music of Norway, and around the Arctic.

Most of the lyrics are in Norwegian.

The main outlet for Fred’s songs is the band The Psychedelic Slugs.

Zhenja Oks

Zhenja Oks (Ukraine, Germany) is from the future past of music.

His songs sound like traditional chansons from South East Europe circa 1912 as well as untraditional chansons from Venus circa 76000.

He sings in German, Ukrainian, English, Yiddish and in other languages.
