Let’s experiment! For its new Special, the Open Mic L J Fox invites all its performers to take a leap outside their comfort zone and explore something far away from their usual jam.

You’re a folky singer/songwriter? Play us your first punk song! You’re a hip-hop artists? Sing us a soulful ballad! You usually play guitar? How about exploring the melodica that’s sitting on your shelf? And if you don’t want to perform an original song, you can also go for a cover from a distant genre and make it your own. A hyper-pop hit on ukulele? An old garage-rock stomper on piano? Anything’s possible!

We’re looking forward to an evening full of surprises! We like surprises.

Every performer will get a free drink on the night.
