Calling all filmmakers in their various shades and manifestations: Madame Claude is finally hosting a Short Film Screening Night on a random Thursday each month!
All forms, styles, genres, languages, fingernails and cakes welcome. Just please note the following:
– An approximate duration range between 05:13-11:27.
– Theoretically speaking we will not be accepting music videos. However, we invite you to dare to be an exception.
We can’t wait to welcome you and to hopefully build a little community to celebrate collaboration, friendship, and cinema.

BACK TO THE BASEMENT

As part of the Love Originals film night we will be premiering ‘Back to the Basement’ to the general public.

Madame Claude, an underground Berlin bar and music venue situated in a former brothel is an institution for the city’s alternative community and has hosted over 6000 concerts since 2008. However, in 2020, due to Pandemic regulations the bar was closed for the first time. Twenty months later, live music is starting again – ‘Back to the Basement’ follows the journey of the space re-opening and explores the cultural value it has for musicians and art-minded people.
