Jiyun Park
Self-built Instrument
Experimental Sound / born in Seoul based in Cologne
The self-built instrument is crafted through experiments to extract inherent sounds from materials and incorporate feedback system.
It is consists of strings, a cooper plate, a transducer and a piezo microphone, generating circulation of swerving sound and embrace internal and external sound in space.
The coupling of acoustic and electronic resonances in a performable instrument that has an almost sculpture like quality is intriguing.

Forest Gimp (DJ-Set)
In his mixes, Forest Gimp’s goal is to create a common thread between eclectic and uncategorised tracks that despite their differences share a certain aesthetic.
