It Sleeps (Alex L and Wojtek Swieca) are two East European transplants that have been playing together since 2019.

This concert marks the release of their new album “Commonwealth Of Discomfort” and presents new performance material: improvised interactions of fragmented, adventurous rhythms, field recordings and digital artefacts.

Improvised/Experimental – Berlin based

Bleeps and bloops trickle the repetitive rhythms and drones from the acoustic bass.

The music is based on complex manipulation of simple ideas and forms.

The sound is the interaction of non-reactive, live-sample manipulation from the electronics, and improvisational conversations with the bass through subtly varying qualities of the simple sounds of the bass.

In the end, just an imaginary story.
