JD Zazie and Henrik Munkeby Nørstebø is a Berlin based electroacoustic duo merging ethereal acoustic elements with bass heavy electronics and field recordings. JD Zazie (IT) and Nørstebø (NO) have both delved deeply in their development of solo material, and the duo is a natural melting point of this process. JD Zazie’s treatment of her ever growing collection of carefully selected and processed sound material stands in contrast to Henrik’s more humanoid instrumental focus, and they unite around their common focus on microscopic sound textures, emerging through the speakers as multidimensional sonic structures.
