Joss Turnbull

Percussionist Joss Turnbull is known for his creative take on middle eastern percussion instruments.

The Iranian goblet drum Tombak is the center piece of Turnbulls artistic work.

His sound ranges from minimalistic musical explorations of one instrument through fingers palms fingernails and preparations to more extreme and raw soundscapes supplemented by electronics and his voice.
