Ani Samperi explores sonic landscapes through textural, percussive, and gestural use of various self-made instruments, as well as household tools and intimate objects reimagined as instrument exciters.

Started as a DIY endeavor to incorporate affordable/everyday objects into her musical practice with guitar, she uses her arsenal of tools as a way to transform signifiers of feminine gender identity from that of vanity or utility into weapons of sonic destruction.
