Angelo Romano is an islander who cannot swim, a singer-songwriter who moves onstage like Mick Jagger, and a polyglot who is not afraid of switching languages between English, Italian and Sicilian, all while handing his wounded soul on a plate for you with a little dance.

His songs are packed with stories from Berlin and other European cities, political rants, lucid dreams, ex-lovers, occasional muses, Tinder bios, imaginary characters and anything in between.

He will be in Berlin to promote “La repubblica del bilocale”, his first album in Italian, and also to share some other songs that will be part of an upcoming English-language album to be recorded later in 2024.

The Night Gardener

The Night Gardener is a singer-songwriter who plays guitar and piano, going from very quiet to very loud and back.

His songs include good doses of escapism, idealism, compassion, heartbreak and hope.

After hitchhiking and busking all across Europe in his twenties, he is now busy making records in Berlin, Germany. His latest release “The Only Light I Know”, a live album recorded at a closed venue during the first pandemic year, is available on all streaming platforms and via bandcamp, and at concerts.
