Kami Maltz (Tel Aviv) and Stefan Schneider (Berlin) were born in the same year but in different countries and cultural contexts – vet they share a profound passion for music that transcends geographic and cultural barriers.
In their musical collaboration, you can hear a fusion of Kami’s Jewish-Mediterranean and folk aesthetic complemented by Stefan’s ambient, dreamy Nordic sound and drumming.
Together, they meet at the crossroads of indie-folk, creating a distinctive and captivating blend.

KIND OF DUSK

KIND OF DUSK captures a state of transformation.
From the tangible to the abstract. Acoustic to electronic. Forming neoclassical movements into avantgarde sound spheres.
The project by Berlin-based producer and multiinstrumentalist Lukas Streich creates organic collages out of intimate piano sounds, innovative production approaches, and folk-inspired melodies.
The processed felt piano feels like the fondation of the compositions. Around this focus point KIND OF DUSK builds hybrid arrangements of electronic and acoustic elements – vocals, choirs, strings, modular sounds, arpeggiators and always the same subtile subbass.
