Henri Lakis (DJ-Set)

Henri Lakis is a Latvian filmmaker, photographer and a Dj.

His Dj sets sophistically delve into the realms of electronic, industrial and world music.
From deep meditative tones to energised dengue fever-like rhythms, he creates a sonic tapestry uncovering a unique selection ranging from ancestral voices to the most contemporary declinations.

His musical research focuses on the tribal aspect of sound, triggering primordial dance rituals to the dance floor, thus inducing to ecstatic trance states in order to connect with the spiritual dimensions.

Lakis is also part of ILLEGANCE, an experimental electronica duo alongside Leo Novus.
