sic

ambient/experimental/drone – Mumbai

sic is the experimental project of Berlin-based artist Akshay Gite.

They compose immersive ambient music shaped by semi-modular synthesis, improvisation, sarod drones, and narrative sound design.

Their work explores how noise can soften into sympathetic harmony and how minimal gestures can hold deep emotional weight.

sic creates slowly evolving sound worlds that shift between intimacy and intensity.

The performances combine storytelling, textured drones, irregular loops and improvised sarod to form cinematic atmospheres that invite stillness, reflection and vulnerability.

Follia

Pop / Zurich

If there are such things as musical genres, then Follia draws from the entire spectrum.

With both feet firmly planted in classical music, she weaves in wild arpeggios and melodic solos, while her arms rummage through folk and pop in search of groove and catchy harmonies.

She blends it all together on her double bass and feeds it into her loop station.

Over this, she sings about living, loving, and loving life.

Also known as: Kontra Pop.
