On 3 October at Madame Claude, Pulse Friction, in collaboration with FLIGHTMODE, presents FLIP-FLAP—an evening connecting vinyl culture, live performance, and electronic experimentation.

Pulse Friction is a Berlin-based DJ collective fostering an inclusive, creative, and accessible electronic music culture.

Through collaborations and community-led events, it showcases the diversity of the local scene, supports emerging artists, and creates spaces for connection and shared experience.

Rather than dividing the venue into two separate worlds, the program is conceived as one continuous musical journey, allowing the upstairs and downstairs spaces to evolve together during the night.

Upstairs, Flip Flap continues its signature format with warm, dancefloor-focused house selections played on vinyl, creating an open and social atmosphere.

Downstairs, FLIGHTMODE takes over with a curated program of three live acts from 20:00 to midnight, followed by DJ sets curated by Pulse Friction.

The live program will avoid conventional full-band setups, instead featuring formats such as synthesizer-led instrumental performances with vocals, live machine techno or house, and hybrid sets combining voice with bass or guitar.

This approach makes the space feel alive and versatile, expanding beyond traditional rock or concert formats while retaining the intimacy, raw energy, and experimental character of Madame Claude’s live room.
