Although we have been knowing each other for about 10 years, the project was only founded in 2023 – exploring soundscapes using DIY noise machines and synthesizers.

Buried live in machines, samplers and loopers, the mainly-improvised songs are cut, electrocuted and belong to the earth.

In his mixes, Forrest Gimp’s goal is to create a common thread between eclectic and uncategorised tracks that despite their differences share a certain aesthetic.
